As of 3:30 this afternoon life as we knew it ceased to exist. Katie got her driver’s permit.
No matter how hard I try to keep these blasted kids from growing up they do it anyway. What’s up with that?
I suppose it could be worse. If we lived in almost any other state she would probably have her license by now so I guess I shouldn’t complain.
But I will anyway.

I’m dreading that day.
I blame my gray hairs on teaching four boys to drive, including riding with them when they had permits! I’m sure Katie “Deweese”, not Katie “de dog”, will do fine!
Like Michele, that’s where some of my gray hairs came from. But, the most probably come from David!
