Just a Quickie
For those of you who prefer a quickie as opposed to a longie (Katybug) – I’M TALKING ABOUT POSTS, PEOPLE! Just a few things.
1. I called my endocrinologist Friday to see what the results of my thyroid biopsy was. She felt horrible because they hadn’t come in yet. She called the hospital but never heard from anyone. I told her I really didn’t care but everyone else did. She doesn’t work on Mondays so she called me today to say the results were fine. So there’s that.
2. Taylor has an interview with the local grocery store tomorrow. He even got a hair cut yesterday so as to make a decent impression. I will be very surprised if he doesn’t get hired because they are desparate for employees. Still, a prayer or two wouldn’t go unappreciated…
3. Sookie is still cute. She met our neighbor’s puppy, Brady, yesterday. We got them both from the same rescue shelter and the owner thinks they may have been at the same foster home. Whatever the case, they were hysterical. They thoroughly enjoyed playing with each other. Brady’s mom, Laura, and I will be planning more play dates.
4. I have a few serious things to blog about – not serious, but you know. Serious. As in not frivolous. I just have to actually take the time to get my thoughts from my head to my computer. Don’t hold your breath.
5. That’s all folks!
I’m so glad for you regarding your biopsy. I know you weren’t too terribly concerned and you were right not to be….good news. Playdates? Potty training? How did we get from not wanting a dog to this? Have you put her in the will? Does she have her own room yet? Oh that’s right she’s getting Taylor’s. That’s why he’s getting a job, right. LOL -I love starting rumors….seriously though, Sookie is adorable…I’m glad she is in a home where she will be well taken care of and inherit millions. 😉 Have a great week my friend.
Thanks for the quickie! BWAHAHAHA!I love your posts, frivolous and serious, so I look forward to it.
So glad you biopsy results finally came back. Good news and one less thing to worry about. I know you weren’t too worried, but still nice to have one thing to just cross off your list.Sookie is so cute, I showed my friend the pictures, and she went crazy. I am glad she has a playmate. I bet the two of them have a ball together, best buddies!I’ll keep my fingers crossed and say a prayer about the job. Although, it sounds like it is a done deal. Hope it goes well. You take care and get some rest.XOXOXO

Hooray about the thyroid biopsy! I have been wanting to email and ask you, but then didn’t want to impose. I am so happy it is fine!
Hey there. Thanks for prayers for my mom. Her hair has come out; I’ve been sensitive about blogging about it, but she seems okay with it. She has a very positive attitude and trusts in the LORD. She has two more chemo treatments then will be done.Wearing pink every day…..mel
Happy for the good results, glad the kid is gonna make himself useful (LOL!), nice that Sookie has a play buddy, and I won’t hold my breath, but holler if you want an ear. 🙂
ROFLOL!!!! You are just too much! Uh, have I mentioned that I prefer quickies a few too many times??? 😕 Posts…or otherwise??? Did I just type that out loud????YEA FOR FINE RESULTS!!!! WOO HOO!!!Wow…to get his hair cut he MUST be serious!!! Will pray for much success and peace for Taylor! There is a group of Cavalier King Charles owners here in town that get their dogs together once a month for a playdate. Is this ridiculous or what??? (Can you tell I can’t wait to go & show off Chester?????) I wonder if there is a similar group (perhaps for pound puppies?) there where you live. Meetup.com. Check it out.
I’m so glad about your test results. I wish I were feeling chattier. If I were, I’d for sure be writing something clever or thoughtful or encouraging here. *sigh* maybe later!
So glad to have the “official” word on those results Jen!! Even when we “know” everything is “okay” we stop holding our breath once we have the “word”!!Best of luck to Taylor!!!!
