My Most Humble Apologies
I have not been a very good bloghopper. My laptop is having connectivity issues so I’m relegated to the basement desktop. It does not have my favorites so my whole bloghopping system is nonfunctional.
Not only that, my head is still stuffed with cotton and my thinking skills are a little iffy on good days.
I am sleeping with the computer guy, but it doesn’t seem to give me preferential treatment. Hopefully I’ll be able to access the internet on my laptop by the weekend. (Huh, computer guy??)
still not feeling well, huh? I hope you get better soon!
Boy do I know how you feel. My laptop is still on the blink too…have to share the desktop with Little Bit. At least I got some direction from my buddy at Microsoft. Now if I could just find the time to sit down and actually DO it!!! 🙁
Hey YOU! I just replied to your comment, so blog-hop over to Manic!Feel better!!! : )
i sleep with my IT guy, too. i have tips for how to get that preferential treatment, but i’m afraid they aren’t very family friendly. let’s just say the amount of clothing I am wearing can be directly proportional to the speed at which my laptop gets fixed.ps- you don’t owe us an apology… you are one rockin’ blogger…
Ditto. I sleep with the IT guy, which happens to be me, and which also means I can be wearing nothing and still get no action. And while I’m sorry you’re having connectivity issues, it actually is a relief since I’ve been too busy myself to do this blogging thing for real. Good to know I’m not missing long, meaningful, thought-inspiring Jen posts.Feel better!Jill
His Girl – Maybe if I felt better…Jill – I sleep with the IT guy, which happens to be me, and which also means I can be wearing nothing and still get no action.HAhahahahahaha!!!
I know what you mean about not getting to use your own computer. I choose my old laptop that is set up just how I like it, over the fancy fast computer hooked up to our big screen tv.
I love having my own laptop and hate it when I have to venture to the cold basement to get online. What’s worse, our desktop crashed and the only working computer is mine. Which means I’m having to share. Which means my computer is seeing more sports news than she should ever have to. Poor girl.Hmmm, I’m sleeping with the electrician and I still can’t get my lightbulbs changed. 😉
I don’t bloghop so good either 😉
Ugh! I know how you feel! I am having connection issues with my home desktop. Hope you start to feel better soon!
My husband sells computer virus stuff and fixes other peoples computer mishaps for a living. Guess who always has a computer that isn’t working right??? I think it is like what they say about the cobblers kids having no shoes.I hope you feel better soon! I am coming down with something today and I feel so sleepy! I hope it is a quick virus for both of us!
Freaky…my same issue, my same reason for not bloghopping (I love how you put that)! I hope to get my laptop fixed this weekend. Hello, Microsoft?
My husband was home for two weeks for Christmas break, then got the flu and has been home for the past couple of days. I have to beat him to the computer if I’m to get any blog time at all. And that’s kind of risky during regular workday hours, because if I dare take a well deserved coffee or lunch break, I’ll get the whole, “So is this what you spend your whole day doing? Must be nice!” routine.
Feel better, SOON! :o)
It is my fault her computer was not working…..but now it is!!!You should have seen her last night when I gave her the computer and told her it now worked…..through all of the kleenex she smiled and said in her very sexy voice she gets when she is sick, “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”. Come to think of it, I would rather hear that same comment, with the same voice, at another time and situation (i.e. her comment “I sleep with the computer guy”) 😉
Ohhh that sucks. Get better soon!
Funny…the guy I sleep with always says “I’m not tech support!” He writes code and doesn’t want to debug anyone else’s stuff. Sigh…I hope you feel better soon. That way you can thank your computer guy properly. 😉

Drive by: HUGS AND HI!
I hear ya! When I was in California I was at the mercy of other people’s favorites and bookmarks. Bleck. I could barely function. Here’s to getting that fixed quickly!
Jen..Hi..hope the computer guy (husband) gets ya fixed soon..and that you’re feeling MUCH better..I love the highway comments..tis therapeutic !!Laughing with ya..deena
I sleep with the computer guy, too! Not your computer guy…my computer guy, of course. I don’t get preferential treatment either. As a matter of fact, whenever I ask him to check out my computer because it’s wonking out, he acts like I just asked him for a kidney or something!!
I think we all go through this from time to time…not just because we are having computer issues…life just takes us by the throat and keeps us occupied elsewhere. I see that as a good thing!! And if you don’t come to us…we’ll come to you!
Computers, can’t live with them and you sure can NEVER live without them. Hope your computer issue gets fixed quick. However, I hope you get fixed quicker. You have been holding on to this yucky flu/cold thingy for too long. I am sending you lots of healing thoughts and prayers, with this post.XOXOXO
