One Of These Things Is Not Like The Others

I’m not taking NyQuil anymore. It takes me too long to get going. Thankfully Todd was home to make me coffee this morning, otherwise I’d probably still be stumbling around.

The TV was on and there was a commercial for something – a new show, a website, I don’t know. Anyway, I thought it said, Psychics, Mediums and Lithuanians. The obvious answer was Lithuanians. Then I realized nobody asked the question. So I backed up the commercial and found out they had said, Psychics, Mediums and Clairvoyants. Not sure how I got Lithuanians from Clairvoyants, but there you have it. The sad thing is I don’t even think I can blame it on NyQuil.

Ha! Lithuanians, huh? Not sure where that came from. 🙂

Oh, gosh. Until your immunity is built up, you’re in for that kind of thing. Isn’t Nyquil a wonder drug?? I love that it makes sense to blame things like the clairvoyants/lithuanians on it! LOL!

At least you caught the mistake. I’ve been known to wonder for a day why things don’t seem to go together. Or for the next time the commercial plays.Course, I would have claimed I was hallucinating and taken myself back to bed with a few wimpers hoping for sympathy ;)CindyS

Lithuanians!! LOL!! That is really funny. I think I’m getting scared of NyQuil now.

I see the wrong words all the time. I consider it a sign of genious. Our brains will tell us a word is nothing near what it really is just to screw with us.

I do that all the time. My husband thinks I am crazy for things I think I hear sometimes.

I knew you meant Clairvoyants and not Lithuanians.I hope that by the time my comment reaches you – you feel better. NyQuil works for me, as does it’s counter part DayQuil.

Jenster, have you thought about using the daytime Nyquil? I found it doesn’t leave me as groggy. Of course, the down side of that is it doesn’t work quite as well, butit does help some. I’m sorry you have a cold–I think you should prepare yourself for other just-as-annoying bugs that will be going around. That’s why kindergarten kids who have gone to daycare don’t get as sick when school starts–they have already had a bunch of those bugs. Take care.

Hope you are feeling better soon Jen! I do not take Nyquil unless I am so sick it does not matter anymore! It knocks me out too.Hugs!
