Prison Girls or Gilmore Break
I mentioned on Friday that Todd and I were going to watch Gilmore Girls that night, but instead we watched Ben’s first season of Prison Break. Which, when you think about it, is the same show with a different backdrop.

I’m sure there are other, more obvious similarities, but you see what I mean. It’s the same show, just dressed a little differently.
Me thinks you scored really high on the SAT in the analogy section.Indeed.
HA! Interesting similarities. I’ve not seen Prison Break, but Gilmore Girls has some of the best back and forth banter seen on tv.
Ha! I guess I do not need to put Prison Break in my Netflix que then. Gilmore Girls is a great show – one of my favorites!
Prison Break and Gilmore Girls, who would have thought?
Thanks for the summary! Now I don’t have to watch EITHER show. I can focus on more uplifting pursuits like, “Rock Of Love” and “What Not To Wear” Challenge: List the similarities of THOSE two shows! LOL.
LOL, you are too funny.
Never watched either, but loved reading your comparison all the same. keep on rockin’!
HAHAHA!! Loved this! Perhaps I could convince my hubby to give the Gilmore Girls a try. 🙂 We could alternate evenings with Prison Break. LOL!
I’m glad I could provide this invaluable service for you ladies.S4J – I don’t know about “Rock of Love”, but I guarantee I could find similarities. I have a gift. :o)
I’ve thought that about a number of TV shows. It’s funny how you realize that right in the middle of an episode. I was watching something one night and felt that I’d seen it before, but it was a new episode. It swirled around in my head for a bit, and then I remembered the same plot from another program. Yawwwwwwnnnn.
That was great, Jenster…and so true! Brunette’s are finally represented! They always save all the other roles for the blondes and redheads, though…don’t they?
Jenster,You just gave me many more reasons to explain my love of Prison Break AND Gilmore Girls. Loved this post!Cat (Deb’s Sister)
Gilmore Girls is one of the best shows ever. My mom and I watch it together whenever we see one another, its ‘our thing’ and has been since…wow, since forever lol. And LOL at a lot of those similarities.
How do you come up with this stuff? So good. You already know how I feel about Gilmore. I haven’t seen much of Prison Break, but my sister is a huge fan. She has a tac that says “Lock me up with Michael Scofield”.
You totally crack me up — I could just imagine, sitting and having a glass of wine (or two) with you…that would be a blast!
I’m waiting for the Cinemax late night documentary, Bad Gilmore Girls Prison Break.
BWAHAHA!
Interesting analysis 🙂 I’ve never seen Prison Break, but I have every single episode of Gilmore Girls committed to memory.
