The Post That’s Not A Post
There are oodles of things going through my head to blog about, but the majority of them are whiney. And I don’t feel like doing whiney today. I’ll save that for another day. Though if I did whine today I could start something new – Whiney Wednesdays. What do you think??
I’ve been watching HGTV for the last two hours while I fold laundry (my own – not the kids’) and I have gobs of ideas for the house. Scads of gobs. I want to go furniture shopping, fabric shopping, paint shopping, antique/flea market shopping, craft store shopping and hardware store shopping. I want to paint, stain, build, arrange and create. Todd has a couple of business trips coming up…
HGTV is an obsession of mine too. I love getting great ideas on how to make my home cuter. I love Whiny Wednesdays. Sounds great to me!
Go Whiny Wednesdays!! Could the rest of us get in on it??
In a word……”NO!”
Oh no Todd, I know what she ends up doing while you are on a business trip! Better cancel!
Terri! What’s you’re deal?? Just because it’s your birthday doesn’t mean you can ruin my life!
My DH swears that HGTV is evil and is the reason the checking account looks like it currently does.He has no idea of fun. I love shopping for furniture and painting is something I could do for a living. DH thinks I am insane! LOL
Too bad we don’t live close to each other, Jen. We could start our own business “The Two Jens” or something equally as uncreative!!
If you feel the whineys coming on, it’s probably from folding all that laundry you found in your daughter’s room…just throw it in a heap on the couch like I do. ;0)
The upstairs of our house is currently gutted. Like, literally stripped to the studs and trusses. So you’re totally welcome to bring a bunch of that decorative/crafty energy our way, tho one of my husband’s major mottos is: no whining….. :o(
Meeee tooooo….Big leaves for China (again) soon…
I drive my hubby crazy with my HGTV ideas, he smiles and nods and things stay pretty much the same around the house :)Though I did print out some worksheets from the DIY show Creative Juice that’s on HGTV too.
