We Interrupt Our Regularly Scheduled Program…
Hello, Friends!! I’m home. I have much to tell about my week in Arkansas, but it will have to wait. Today, April 30, is Taylor’s 16th birthday. We’re not doing much in the way of celebrating today, but we will later in the week. So for today I’m mainly just posting pictures. That and maybe weeping just a little, tiny bit as I look at the pictures.
“There’s not a better lunch than cheesepuffs and oreos!”
For those of you paying attention, you are right. This is not Taylor. But this picture was in with Dapper Dan and I couldn’t resist posting it. “There’s no place like home.”
Two cheesy grins on the Durango-Silverton Steam Train.
Contemplating life at Mesa Verde, Colorado.
You can’t see it, but Taylor has Katie in a headlock in this picture.
What a fine young man you have grown there. I hope you had a good night celebrating.Glad you’re home . . .
*falls on face* OH AM I GLAD YOU ARE BACK!!!!!!I mean, handsome son! Happy, Happy Birthday….
FINALLY!Oh, and Happy Birthday to Taylor.
Happy Birthday, Taylor!!! And what great pictures!!You’re a handsome young man from start to finish! But please gently correct your mom … Mesa Verde is in Colorado. shhhhh. Be nice! It’s OK to smirk, but be nice!Jen, I’m so glad you’re back! Boy have you been missed!! And I’m looking forward to the sister-stories!
Welcome back Jen. Missed you like crazy.Happy belated birthday Taylor! Aw, I love the re-cap pictures. What a good-looking, happy young man he is. You both must be so proud.
Thank you, ladies. Both on the Taylor compliments and for missing me!And Lynilu – I fixed it!! LOL Glad you caught that. :o)
My favorite picture – mowing in the shade! Happy Birthday to Taylor!
What a cutie pie! (Don’t tell him I said that because it would probably embarrass him, right?) Tell him I just said happy birthday! In the last picture, he has the exact same haircut as my almost 8 year old son!
WELCOME HOME!Happy Birthday to Taylor, what great pictures. I love the one with Katie holding the umbrella while he’s mowing, lol.
Welcome back!! Missed you in bloggyville!I, too, LOVED the mowing in the shade picture.Makes me misty, though, realizing that they grow up. That one day they’re in their high chair, and the next, they’re with their lovely date at the winter ball.*sniffs*
Happy Birthday, Taylor! How fun to see him grow up through photos.
Glad you’re back and had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to hear about it (except I’ll have to since I’m off to California for 2 weeks)….Happy 16th to Taylor…he’s the same age as my Liam who turned 16 in January. Handsome man — and they seem so much more like men now than boys, don’t they?
Hope he had a great birthday! I love the pictures!!!
Welcome back, and I hope the celebration is delicious. You son sure is. 😉 You must be just a little bit proud. xxxooogretchen
What I want to know is, did you immediately try and peel the wallpaper off of Taylor and Kristen’s Winter Ball backdrop after the photo was snapped?
